Welcome
Hello! Hola! Bonjour! Hallo! G'day!
Get to know me!
Get to know me!
I took the road less traveled and ended up learning more about how life and the world interacted before embarking on the "professional student" track late in life. College student at 36, Grad student at 41, and now embarking on the fun parts of using all the experiential parts to go out and take on the world!
When I'm not working, I'm learning. Walking around, I'm looking always upwards and forward (backwards maybe for insight and reflection!). On my walkabouts, I'm either jamming to the beats of high energy dance music from Farius or listening to the Economist. Either way, I'm always collecting information that plays some part of my engagement with the world around me.
I wish I could say what my favorite things are, but to be perfectly honest, there's not one thing. The world is too vast and varied for such an isolated choice. Anything from baking bread, reading about data collection, recent economic events, or pondering the history of mankind and how we got to where we are, there's not much that doesn't spark an interest in this geek!
Started my career in customer service and retail where I learned a lot about human nature and developed some really insightful soft skills. After my bachelor's in Economics followed by an MBA in IT Management Consulting, I've been able to pivot to more business analyst and project management roles.
